Seren vs. The Aircon Filter: A Simple Mission, Big Reward

Seren decided it was time to clean her aircon filter. No deep thoughts, no dramatic speeches just her, her purple house, and a mission.

She looked up at the aircon… then at her loft bed.

She already knew what needed to be done.

The Climb

Up she went, step by step, like a determined little adventurer.

“Why is this higher than I remember?” she muttered halfway up, slightly questioning her life choices but continuing anyway.

Finally, she reached the top and faced the aircon like it was her final boss.

The Discovery

She opened it carefully and pulled out the filter.

One look and she paused.

“Oh.”

A brief moment of silence for her lungs.

Cleaning Mode Activated

Filter in hand, she climbed down much faster this time. Suddenly, the ground felt very important.

She headed straight to the bathroom and turned on the running water like she was about to perform a very serious operation.

Holding the filter under the stream, she watched the dust wash away.

“Goodbye,” she said dramatically. “You will not be missed.”

She rinsed it thoroughly, making sure every bit was clean feeling oddly powerful for someone holding a wet aircon filter.

Round Two

After drying it just right not too wet, not too dry she nodded in approval.

Back up the loft bed she climbed, this time with more confidence.

“We meet again,” she whispered.

She slid the clean filter back into place, closed the aircon, and paused to admire her work.

The Result

She climbed down, turned the aircon on, and waited.

A cool, fresh breeze filled the room.

Seren smiled.
